Transform Your Gardening Game

With our quality native mulch, your garden will be set to bloom in no time. Get your garden supplies, sand, and pebbles ready for a transformation!

Control Weeds

Pesky weeds can make your garden less than attractive, which is the last thing you want. Wood chips or mulch act as a natural weed barrier, reducing the need to bend down to weed every weekend.

Retain Moisture

Mulching helps to keep the soil moist by reducing evaporation and maintaining a more consistent soil moisture level, reducing how often you’ll need to water your plants.

Improve Soil Health

Mulch naturally decomposes in time, contributing organic matter to the soil it sat on top of. This helps to improve soil structure, making fertile land for plants to grow.

Protect Tree and Plant Health

By regulating soil temperature, mulch placed around trees and plants helps to protect their roots from fluctuations in temperature that may be harmful to their health.

Ask Us A Question

What style of mulch do you sell?

While there are a wide range of mulch types available, our mulch is made from mulched tree branches and other debris from native gardens.

What else can I do with tree branches if I don’t want to mulch them?

If you don’t want to mulch your tree branches, they may be able to be used as firewood for fireplaces, wood-burning stoves, or outdoor fire pits. However, firewood needs to be allowed to dry for six to 12 months for efficient and clean burning. Other uses include using them for natural garden edging, composting, or even arts and crafts.

What is the process of wood chipping?

Wood chipping needs to be performed with precision and care for safety. Once we’re properly protected, we put pieces into the wood chipper where sharp blades or knives chip at the wood. The resulting pieces then come out through a chute.

Can dead wood be chipped?

Yes, dead wood is commonly used in wood chippers as it allows the material to be repurposed.

How much mulch do I need for my garden?

The average home gardener will find that the amount of mulch they need will depend on the size of the garden beds that need to be mulched and how deep the mulch needs to be. To get an idea of how much mulch you’ll need for your garden, measure the garden bed areas by multiplying the length by the width to determine their square metreages, and then adding the sum of all your garden beds together.

What equipment do you use?

Our equipment includes a 10 cubic metre tipper truck, 12-inch wood chipper, 18 metre EWP tower, plus other tools and equipment as needed to suit to your job.

Do you have mulch available right now?

Call us today and we can advise whether there is mulch available right now.

What area do you service?

Do you offer any other forms of tree maintenance?

Yes! We also offer tree removal, tree pruning, hedge trimming, stump grinding, and stump removal.
